The Ojibwe People

Several indigenous groups have lived in the area that is now Northern Minnesota, including the Cree and Lakota people. Most recently are the Ojibwe, or Chippewa, an Anishinaabe group. Learn about Ojibwe history, culture, language, and the vibrant local Ojibwe communities.
